Polyurea Greases

On the lubricant time scale polyurea technology is relatively new as grease thickener technology. Polyurea grease technology was developed in the 1970's and since then significant advances have resulted in higher lubricant performance in a wide range of industrial applications.

Polyurea thickened greases benefit from a drop point around 270°C. These greases have very good water resistance and offer good mechanical stability.

Other advantages over conventional soap thickened greases include good temperature resistance and long-life. These products are popular with engineers because they are perceived to be versatile and tough.
