Correct lubrication of conveyor chains is essential for optimum performance and maximum chain life.
The major considerations that assure smooth, continuous operation of chain conveyors and associated components are:
· Type and effectiveness of the selected lubricant
· Precise application of the lubricant
· A maintenance program to assure continuity of operation
Lubricants for roller chain must be selected and applied according to the application and working conditions of the chain. High temperature conveyor chains suffer wear due to the inability of conventional oils to withstand oven/furnace temperatures without evaporating rapidly, forming carbon deposits or leaking.

Our Beslux Ramca 220 spray is synthetic oil for the lubrication of chains, rollers and pins and slideways. It offers protection in temperatures up to 230°C.
The Beslux Ramca 220 is a synthetic based, light coloured oil which offers good protection and ensures superior wetting capacity on metal surfaces as well as a good lubricating film with high metal affinity.
Beslux Ramca 220 is chemically stable, resistant to high temperatures and leaves minimum residuals after evaporation.
It will protect machinery at high temperatures and provides excellent wear protection.Molybdenum disulphide can be compared to a ‘pack of cards’, the pack when put under load can withstand high loads towards the surface, however the cards can slide over each other or ‘shear’ to allow movement easily. This can be added to chain spray to add high temperature resistance. Our Beslux Cadenas is a product based on a high temperature resistant base oil and colloidal Molybdenum Di-sulphide. The spray application ensures excellent penetration down to the pins and brushes of roller chains.
Our Beslux Moly Spray is a dry film lubricant containing Molybdenum Di-sulphide (MoS2) for temperatures up to 450°C.
It provides a lubricating film with excellent endurance. It is very adherent and ideal for applications with heavy loads and temperature changes. It ensures smooth sliding and minimises the coefficient of friction.
